Symmetrical Eyepieces

What is a Symmetrical eyepiece and why should you buy one?

A symmetrical eyepiece has a unique inherent design of aberration control.  The design features two exact doublets that face each other.  This unique arrangement naturally cancels out all aberrations.  As light enters the lower doublet, positive and negative aberrations are introduced to the light cone.  These aberrations are then made null or eliminated as they pass through the second opposite facing doublet.  This yields one of the highest contrast and resolution eyepieces available at any price.  Further improving on this old design, we have used modern high index optical glass and broadband coatings.
