Telescopes: Backpacker 101^TM

The Backpacker 101^TM is the next generation of telescopes from Burgess Optics. With a 101mm objective of 550 mm focal length, this telescope will offer fine rich field views. Also, with the FPL-53 extra-low dispersion "ED" optical glass in the objective, the telescope will allow greater magnification than the typical achromat.

Features include:

• A retractable dew shield
• CNC rings with holes drilled to accept our MRF finder
• A diagonal with enhanced coatings
• One eyepiece
• A carrying case

The Backpacker 101^TM is being developed. As soon as the first production units are completed and have been tested to our satisfaction, we will post more information on the telescope.
