Tripods & Mounts: Tiny TitanTM Parallogram Mount
The Tiny TitanTM includes a Z-Bracket for attaching the binoculars to the mount. A sliding counterweight allows the Tiny Titan to be balanced for the binoculars being used. Below the Z-Bracket is the altitude adjust knob. While holding the binoculars, loosen the knob and adjust the binoculars so that they are pointing higher or lower in the sky. The Tiny Titan does not have an azimuth adjustment. It must be used in conjunction with a tripod with an azimuth head, such as the Tiny Titan Tripod or the Red Oak Tripod. It will also work with a photo head on a photo tripod, although the Tiny Titan will have to adapted to fit the specific photo head being used. The Tiny Titan is available in various configurations. It is available fully assembled, ready to install on a tripod. It is available as part of the Tiny Titan Combo, fully assembled with the Tiny Titan Tripod. It is also available as a kit, requiring some drilling and assembly. The kit parts are shown below. Full instructions are included, and can be downloaded here.
If you also purchase the MRFTM finder, the universal base included with the finder screws into the top of the Z-Bracket after the existing dovetail base is removed. Available accessories include the MRFTM finder and extra flat mounting bases and the Tiny Titan Tripod. Also, check out our binoculars. |
